Information on the Festival
The Pumpkin Festival in Keene, Ontario promises something for everyone beginning with a Kids & Pets Costume Parade kicking things off at 11:30 am. Children are invited to display their carved pumpkins for the Pumpkin Pyramid to be lit at dusk.
Also included are:
- Junior Farmer Olympics
- Enchanted & Gothic Gardens
- Pony Rides & Petting Zoo
- Corn Maze
- Pumpkin & Face Painting and the Kid’s Corner
- The Silliest Pet Tricks &
- Other contests (like the Family Fun Run and the Home & Business Decorating Challenge!) round out the fun.
Growers from all across Ontario have been encouraged to submit their Gigantic ‘Plump-kins’ in our official Weigh-Off Competition.
In the downtown area there will be an Antique Car Show, Farmer’s Mini-Market with Cooking Demonstrations, Church Harvest Supper, Ghost Walks and a variety of artists & entertainers, performing for everyone’s enjoyment.
